Why did not islam mention about dinosours, instead just talked about popular science in those times ?

Islam does; but in a general way. It says god created creature that you don't know about. and they didn't know about dinasours at the time. so, you get the picture.Why did not islam mention about dinosours, instead just talked about popular science in those times ?

actually Qur'an ( not verbatim ) says God created animals you know and animals you no not about. Perhaps dinosaurs were not known at the time to the general population the time the Qur'an was revealed.Why did not islam mention about dinosours, instead just talked about popular science in those times ?
