I work with a really sweet older man and his daughter my age just got married....I really think that I'm his daughter now, lol. Anyways, he is very smart and reads up on history books and scientific books.
I was concerned when I heard that the earth was on a collision course with a major astoeroid soon, but he told me he has heard that his whole life. If he had a dollar for how many times, etc, etc. He explained to me the the earth doesn't do a circle, or even an oval around the sun, it does something in between and not even in the same plane the same time around. For someone to predict an asteroid that far in the future has to have some serious God power, and then we are all doomed. Coming from Modern Physics he just doesn't buy it.
He is such a great man of God and well versed in Chrisitanity and modern history, science, politics, and just about everything else. I really cherish going to work with him,,,,,,
but no, I don't believe that either, I have researched it, too, the earth doesn't do a straight orbit or "circle" around the sun, as none of the other planets do either, as represented on my son's space book diagram or the planets in their neat little orbits......their orbits do rotate in a 360 degree universe, something I think that author might have missed......otherwise he is very, very ahead of his time which I doubt.....
