Where can I publish popular science articles as letters to editors or guest editorials?

Which journals? I mean POPULAR, not strict science.Where can I publish popular science articles as letters to editors or guest editorials?
Letters are usually comments on recent articles. Articles are usually solicited for magazines like Scientific American, Discover, and National Geographic, and must pass a stringent peer-review system for actual journals. Even the popular magazines won't just publish anything. But you can always send (short) letters and you might get one published.Where can I publish popular science articles as letters to editors or guest editorials?
if you write an ARTICLE, they won;t select it for publication as a LEtter to the Editor.

A LETTER must be short ands sweet, and does not give you enough space to develop a 'real" scientific Idea.

ALL of the POPULAR science journals want REAL science, made simple for the "Populace" (general readership). You can;t just go in with any BS idea, and expect to get published.

So go to a good book store, pick a magazine that covers the kind of science you want to write about, look in the magazine, and see how and where to make submissions.
