Do you all now see the detriment of junk science?

When denying global warming, conservatives point to any and all kinds of pseudoscientific studies that are clearly bullsht. And rightly so. There's a lot of garbage out there. But here's the problem: Since conservatives are not smart enough to tell the difference between what is real and what is trash, they feel free to pick and choose their favorite scientific studies based upon thier own whims, fancies, and emotions. For this reason, it is REALLY important that we crack down on the crap that makes it into the popular press. Everything labeled as "science" should be reasonably defnedable so that dumb people can't point to dumb studies and say, "See, all science is crap".Do you all now see the detriment of junk science?

And you don't? I mean, seriously, are you an expert on climate change? How many hours have you actually spent on this topic. I can tell you, honestly, that I have spent what could amount to weeks on this issue and the skeptics have some very valid points.



Sounds to me like you're simply relying on what the media is spoon feeding to you, rather than researching both sides of the issue.Do you all now see the detriment of junk science?

The problem is that most conservatives are also "Christians" and of course some fairy tale written in a dead language takes precedence over real science. So no matter what you say to them, evolution is bunk, the earth is only five thousand years old, dinosaurs never existed or were used as early horses, men lived to be 500 years old or more, and global warming is BS.



Sad, but that's what they think.
