Science is not a popular subject now a days . explain?

Science is popular, but not as popular as it could be, or has been in the past, particularly in some places. There might be many reasons for this:



1. Science is complicated, with many details. As science advances, the forefront is harder for people to understand.



2. Science uses its own special language. Some words have diffrent meaning than in common usage, like "theory". It confuses people and presents a barrier to understanding.



3. Science is under assault in some places by religious elements.



4. Science is linked with negative things, like pollution and advances in military weapons, in many people's minds.



5. Science has become large and bureaucratic as it has grown.



6. Scientific activities often raise ethical questions, like stem cell research, or human cloning.



7. Science is viewed as useless, as opposed to engineering, which focuses more on applications.
